My New Point and Shoot Camera

I must always be conflicted over something. It seems to just be part of who I am. I have been going back and forth for the last YEAR about whether or not I should buy a point and shoot camera.

On one hand I think it would be so handy to put in my pocket and go, but on the other hand, will the quality be good enough that I won't be unhappy all the time.......

One one hand, it would be SO nice to just take snapshots of the kids around the house without using one of the studio cameras. On the other hand, I am more comfortable with the studio cameras than I will ever be with anything else......

Finally, I did it! (sorry Rick!). I bought one. I truely feel like this is one of the best point and shoots on the market today. It's fast, affordable, and has all the dings and whistles that some people want. And better yet, it's a Canon. (Nikon.....blech....boo....hisss) :)

If you're in the market for a new camera, check out the

Canon PowerShot SD750 Elph

A little camera with a lot of punch. Tony the UPS man should be bringing it on Monday!

My Disney CD has Arrived!

I've never been so happy to see Tony the UPS man! He brought my Disney Photo CD. (the ones that the Disney photographers take).

I will actually be in some of these. There are 252 pictures on it. 130 of which (once I edit them), I will LOVE.

Now I will be starting on my Disney Vacation photo book. (I have told myself I can only work on it when there isn't Photo Graphics work waiting on me, so hopefully it will get done this year!)

Here are a few in the meantime......

Cousin Bonding

We headed over awhile back for a little bonding time with Hannah and Eli. RJ and Heidi had been asking about them and since we were already in Effingham, we thought we'd stop.

Actually, we pretty much invited ourselves in and then stayed all evening and played Guitar Hero on the Wii.

It's a good thing I don't have Guitar Hero at home, or I'd never get anything done. I felt like such a star. I mean really, it's not like I could actually play, but there's something about that game. Something that takes an incredibly non-musical person like myself, and somehow makes them think that they could really rock! It's crazy.

I do love that game! Oh, and I'm horrified at how cheesy Heidi's smiles were in all of these!

Just an update on the stitches.....

Dr Jennings removed them on Wednesday and it looks so amazing. You can hardly tell anything even happened! If he has a scar at all, it will be really small.

So, we lost the stitches and then thanks to Heidi and a super-cool spiderman walkie talkie (that ironically enough, was a toy that he got for having gotten the stitches in the first place) he now has a black eye.

If the black eye gets bad enough, I have a cool idea for a picture.

Hopefully after this, we can stay injury free!

One More.....

I forgot to post one of the most important pictures of all......

Here is a picture of RJ's stitches....The most memorable of all the things we brought home with us from Disney world. 4 internal stitches and 10 external stitches.

I'm petty shocked at how quickly it is healing.......

More Pictures to Follow

I've ordered all of my pictures from Disney (the ones that the Disney Photographers take).

I hope to have them in 2 weeks or so, so there will be lots more pictures to follow!
